Posted January 1, 2018by Lily Teplow

Happy New Year to all! 2017 was a remarkable year for the IT industry on a number of levels. Although we saw some challenges—specifically as it relates to cybersecurity—the developments in the IT market as a whole are very promising for MSPs and IT service providers. But before we set our sights on what we will achieve in 2018, let’s take a quick look back on the major accomplishments of the past year.

2017 Highlights

Unveiling of Continuum Security

In October, we announced our new managed security portfolio, Continuum Security, along with two new solutions, Profile & Protect and Detect & Respond. In September, we were pleased to reveal that Continuum University, the self-paced, interactive online learning center for managed services providers, had issued 5,000 specialty certifications in various disciplines. Continuum University is designed specifically to help Continuum partners and their technicians maximize the value they receive from Continuum’s platform and excel in the industry. In addition to product-focused courses, Continuum University also features a selling managed IT services course, which teaches MSPs how to optimize their sales process, unleash their sales potential and grow their pipeline.

Empowering Continuum MSPs to Be the Most Profitable in the Industry

In July, we released an analysis from Service Leadership, Inc., the leading financial and operational benchmark organization for MSPs and IT solution providers worldwide, that indicates that Continuum partners are able to achieve greater profitability than other MSPs as a result of our transformative business model. The analysis found that Continuum’s unique business model helps our partners achieve higher margins, withstand downward market pressures and operate more efficiently compared to other MSPs.

Therefore, we strive to bring together the technology, process, and people you need and empower you with an effective and powerful security solution. We will continue to push ourselves to be more innovative than before, and enable you to take full advantage of the opportunities in front of us all.
