Greetings again from day three of our Navigate 2017 conference, focused on empowering our MSP partners with the tools and insight they need to define their path and achieve success in the IT space.

Remembering Who You Are

We commenced day three of Navigate this year with an inspiring keynote, Remembering Who You Are, presented by Jim “The Rookie” Morris. Morris was 35 years old, teaching in Texas, when he made a bet with his high school baseball team—win the district championship and he would try out for a Major League Baseball team. His team carried out its half of the bet, and Jim his. Three months later, he made it to the big leagues.

His Cinderella story served as testimony to the power of dreams and how to pursue them. Morris drew lessons from his own life experience and discussed the importance of chasing dreams and inspiring others to become mentors and leaders. Here’s what some of our attendees had to say about his amazing keynote:

 

Business Leadership Roundtable

Another major highlight from day three included our Business Leadership Roundtable, held in the general session room. This was an opportunity for attendees and partners to join industry business leaders for a roundtable discussion on the state of the IT landscape and how the top issues are creating opportunities for those who get out ahead of these trends. This esteemed group of panelists offered a unique set of perspectives to a variety of critical topics facing MSPs and technology professionals.

Michael Novinson of CRN did a fabulous job moderating the session, and was joined on stage by:

  • David Bennett, CRO Webroot
  • Dave Mitchell, VP Business Development & ISVs IBM
  • Arlin Sorensen, Founder and CEO HTG

These leaders shared their expertise and advice on how MSPs can successfully grow and scale their business as we look towards 2018, focusing on how to incorporate security into their services offering. Take a look at some of the takeaways from this valuable roundtable discussion:
