Our annual user conference, Navigate 2019 North America, spanned the nation this year, with events in both the east and the west. #nav19 Pittsburgh and #nav19 Las Vegas just recently wrapped, and there are a lot of exciting innovations and announcements to highlight!
Continuum CEO Michael George set the tone early for this year’s conference as he discussed unanticipated disruption and why as IT professionals we need to plan for the unexpected. He also shared the importance of not building the bridge to nowhere—especially as the threat landscape continues to evolve. His sentiments powered much of the efforts behind our numerous announcements, presentations and tips and tricks shared.
Here are the most notable moments from Navigate 2019 North America.
Launch of Continuum Certify
The Continuum Certify Navigate pre-day event provided attendees with a focused, full day of cybersecurity training covering industry standards, best practices and products—with tracks tailored specifically for engineering and sales roles.

- Enablement to win new cybersecurity business and deals
- Certificate of completion for Continuum Certify
In Pittsburgh, of the 66 engineers that took the exam, 60 passed! And of 40 sales people, 30 passed the exam!
In Las Vegas, 66 out of 69 sales people passed the exam, and 60 our of 63 engineers passed! Congratulations to all those now certified.
Continuum Fortify with MDR Capabilities Announced
During our first keynote, we announced Continuum Fortify with managed detection and response capabilities! Powered by Fortinet, these new capabilities will provide MSPs automated correlation across security tools, a single platform experience across the environment, and a turnkey and fully managed set of protections for MSPs to defend themselves and mitigate risk potential for weaponization of MSP tools.
You can learn more in our upcoming webinar, How to be the MSP Security Hero: Use Fortify with MDR, on November 7.
Debut of Fortify For the MSP
As we expand our Fortify solution, this also comes with a new product, Fortify For the MSP, built specifically to help managed service providers protect themselves. Continuum VP of Product Fielder Hiss reiterated that security starts at home, and Fortify For the MSP was made to help the MSP easily implement these tools to their environments.
Automation Enhancements for Continuum Command
We also announced the expansion of Continuum Command’s automation capabilities. The automation enhancements are built with a more intuitive user design and plug-and-play attributes, which will help you get work done quicker and turn your focus to higher-value projects, driving growth and better service.
By integrating this accessible automation into the Command platform, MSP technicians will not need to learn a new programming language or upskill in order to reap the benefits of automation. In turn, this will empower your MSP business to deploy talent more effectively and see accelerated resolution times that enhance the customer experience.
You can see the enhancements in our next Continuum Command Demo Day on November 5, 2019.
