What do a CEO, a TV star and a former policer commissioner have in common? They’ll each be delivering a special keynote address at Continuum’s annual industry conference, Navigate. This year’s event will be taking place September 24–27, 2018 at the Seaport World Trade Center, with an agenda full of business, sales and marketing sessions, peer-to-peer networking opportunities, and highly-anticipated keynote addresses.
Let’s take a look at the experts our attendees are bound to learn from and be inspired by at Navigate 2018!
Celebrity Keynote: Barbara Corcoran
Best known for her role as a Shark on ABC’s four-time Emmy award-winning show, Shark Tank, Barbara Corcoran is considered one of the most successful entrepreneurs in the United States. During her keynote on September 26th, she will share her rags-to-riches story about how she turned a $1,000 loan into a five-billion-dollar business by learning to fail well. Corcoran will inspire attendees to build a leading brand, learning about how she quit her job as a waitress to start the tiny real estate company that would eventually become the multi-billion-dollar business that bears her name today.
Following her keynote, Barbara will join Continuum CEO, Michael George, as a panelist for an interactive competition titled MSP Shark Tank. During the competition, partners will get the chance to pitch their cyber security marketing ideas, with the winner receiving $15,000 in co-marketing funds from Continuum to promote their managed security services offering.
Could it be you? Only if you’re at Navigate 2018! This will be a legendary keynote that you won’t want to miss.
Cyber Security Keynote: Ed Davis
Ed Davis is best known for his leadership and service as Boston Police Commissioner, particularly as he led the department through the investigation and aftermath of the 2013 Boston Marathon bombing. After retiring from his position as Commissioner, Davis founded Edward Davis, LLC, a security consulting firm that operates at the intersection of physical security and technology. His team lends their expertise to crisis response, risk management, audit and compliance, cyber/IoT mitigation and more, consulting major corporations and public entities such as John Hancock, Uber, The Boston Globe and the Boston Red Sox.
During his keynote address on September 27th, Davis will focus on lessons he has learned from 30 years of managing crisis and how it translates to the cyber threat—at a time of growing concern of cyber crime for businesses. He will also share unique insights into what your clients need, and what you can do, to deter attacks. You don’t want to miss this opportunity to hear from one of the nation’s predominant figures in the cyber security space!
CEO Keynote: Michael George
Michael George has more than 25 years of experience creating, building and leading world-class technology companies. He has served as CEO since Continuum was formed in 2011, and ensures the company provides its thousands of MSP partners with the platform and tools they need to thrive in today’s $241 billion managed IT services market.
Last year, George treated Navigate attendees to his keynote address, The Art of [Cyber]War: Lessons from Sun Tzu. With a strong focus on cyber security, George highlighted the opportunity presented by managed security services, explored the expanding cyber crime phenomenon, and imparted ancient battlefield wisdom from Sun Tzu that is all-too-relevant in the IT marketplace today.
This year, George will continue on his trend of sharing valuable insights into the IT landscape and the future of the MSP. In his keynote on September 25th, he’ll provide MSP attendees with best practices on how to dramatically accelerate their growth, better-retain clients and outperform their competition. However, you’ll just have to attend Navigate 2018 to learn them for yourself!
You can take advantage of Early Bird tickets and attend for $799, which will be available to attendees until June 30, 2018, and regular registration will be open until the event sells out. Click here to register for Navigate 2018!
