We've Expanded Our Engineering Team in Mumbai, India!

Posted August 12, 2014by Mary McCoy

Yes, that's right. We're delighted to announce that we've expanded our Mumbai engineering office, increasing our workforce to 120 engineers since January, with 30 more engineering hires planned, bringing the total team in India to 680 people!

exec-team-michael-george-305“Since the extensive upgrade to our industry-leading NOC in June 2013, we continue to expand and advance our engineering talent as well as our SaaS operations to ensure MSPs can quickly realize greater efficiencies and improved profit margins. These advances reflect the company's commitment to help MSP partners lower labor costs by not adding technicians and increase support services to drive improvements in operational efficiency." ~ Michael George, CEO at Continuum~

Due to our rapid growth, Continuum signed a lease for an additional 19,000 square feet of office space, now occupying 46,000 square feet in the Times Square building. Along with our engineering team, you can find our Network Operations Center (NOC), hard at work monitoring your half a million servers, desktops and mobile devices.

This office expansion comes with an impressive expansion in talent! As Country Manager & Whole Time Director, Ashok Bhandari is responsible for leading and directing the day-to-day activities of the Mumbai office, ensuring all important business objectives are achieved. Ashok has more than 34 years of corporate and business experience, serving various companies including Unilever, Honeywell and Century Rayon.

Previously, she spent over 13 years at Cisco in Bangalore, most recently leading the Security Protocols and VPN teams. She held various engineering roles at Cabletron Systems and Zeitnet India, a start-up in the ATM domain. Pratima specializes in networking protocol standardization and has authored Internet articles on IP security. She holds several patents in the networking domain and is passionate about building high impact teams. Pratima leads the engineering staff in India responsible for Continuum’s Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) platform.

All of Continuum’s global engineering is headed by Paiman Nodoushani, Chief Technology Officer & Vice President of Engineering. Paiman has more than 20 years of experience in engineering management and was Senior Director Cloud Products & Solutions for Avaya and Director Engineering & Portfolio Management for Cisco. He is on the Board of Directors for Habitat for Humanity and a Board Trustee for Mass Technology Leadership Council (MassTLC).
