Mandatory Requirement

  • Experience working with a US based company.
  • Experience with cloud based accounting system.
  • Statutory audit experience with a Big 4 Accounting Firm.
  • Good working knowledge of both India and US GAAP.
  • Experience with India tax compliance including transfer pricing.
  • Experience with payroll and employee law compliance.

Job Description

  • Oversee the accounting department and tax functions for the India Subsidiary.
  • Manage the month end close ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Prepare the monthly financials in compliance with India GAAP, prepare the US GAAP adjustments, and report to the US based headquarters.
  • Prepare the various tax compliance reporting in a timely manner.
  • Oversee the cash planning to ensure an adequate cash balance and that all payments are made timely and are properly approved.
  • Ensure the internal control processes are adequate and are operating effectively.
  • Prepare the annual budget and quarterly rolling forecast including the P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow.
  • Prepare the budget vs actual reporting monthly and report to the US based headquarters and review with the local department managers.

Manage the statutory and financial annual audit with the external accounting firm.

Educational Qualification 

  • BC Graduate required and CA preferred.
