Mandatory Requirements

The ideal candidate is someone who has proven experience with managing QA team and responsible for delivering high quality software and has high attention to detail and ownership over the quality of the product.

  • 14+ years of total experience.
  • 5+ managerial experience.
  • Must have minimum 3Yrs experience on Automation using Selenium
  • Must have minimum 2Yrs experience on webservices testing using SOAP UI tool
  • Must have experience in writing code in Java or similar
  • Must have experience in Agile methodology, JIRA tool
  • Must have experience with global companies in onshore/offshore model
  • Must have experience in Windows and cloud based test environments
  • Good to have experience in creating Virtual Machines
  • Good to have knowledge on Performance testing with tools like Jmeter
  • Good to have basic knowledge of Linux/Unix
  • Good to have exposure to product based companies
  • Good to have certification in CSTE or ISTQB

Job Description

  • Manage project teams of 30+ in testing and deployment of new infrastructure projects, products, and/or features
  • Mentor technical resources in QA teams
  • Build Testing Centre of excellence establishing and managing large teams, processes, tools, automation frameworks, quality life cycle with SDLC
  • Set up strong governance model covering People, process Technologies
  • Manage, plan, develop, implement and deploy testing strategies across multiple products and groups by working closely with Product Management and other teams by understanding the priorities
  • Ensure that projects comply with testing and Quality Assurance standards
  • Manage the implementation of cost effective and "industry best practice" quality control and testing solutions flexible to support Continuum’s SAAS environment while retaining strong levels of quality control
  • Drive continual improvement in quality assurance standards and processes
  • Manage staff responsible for all types of system testing including integration, functional and performance testing, across multiple applications and projects
  • Partner with Development teams, Product, Service Delivery teams, Infosec teams across the enterprise in helping the quality and testing transformation
  • Communicate testing strategies & results to broad audience including senior leadership
  • Implement effective use of QA tools ( test automation and test management)
  • Performance Management of the team
  • Set SMART & stretch goals and build trust and influence across teams
  • Vendor management
  • Calculate ROI
