Mandatory Requirements


  • Very Good Citrix VDI Experience with ability to manage end user issues.
  • In depth Understanding in Citrix XenApp (all versions), Web Interface and other Citrix Components.
  • Very Good understanding & troubleshooting skills of Citrix Access Gateway, Netscaler.
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills of Citrix products.
  • Must have analytical skills in deriving root cause.
  • Should be able to resolve most complex issues related to Citrix components (Web Interface, XML Broker, Load Evaluator, IMA, and Data store)
  • Should have extensive knowledge in Citrix Printing & knowledge on third party printing products.
  • Must have very good knowledge in Edgesight configuration, Reporting & analyzing the reports.
  • Apart from Citrix XenApp, understanding of other core Citrix Components with related to Microsoft Technologies like Active Directory, GPO and TS/RDS is Mandatory.
  • Should have very good knowledge in Application Streaming, Appsense & App-v.
  • Ability to support and Manage Very Large XenApps V4.5 and V6.5 Citrix Farm, 3000+ concurrent users Set-up running on hyper-V or Xen Server.
  • Manage Citrix Components like secure gsteway.
  • Complex problem troubleshooting and root cause analysis
  • Ready to work in 24*7 support.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Job Description

  • Application installation, publication and isolation within CITRIX environment.
  • Designing & implementing policies within CITRIX environment
  • Configuring and optimizing resource manager to generate alerts.
  • Providing permanent fixes to problems related to Citrix.
  • Maintain Citrix Data store, license servers, and Zone Data Collectors
  • Support Client application & applications installed on Citrix
  • Accountable for Migration of Citrix from old farms to new farms & update of Roll up packs
  • Support for setting up Citrix connectivity from new customer or locations
  • Support for other core Citrix Components like Gateway, VDI and Edgesight (as needed)
  • Support for engineering efforts in Citrix projects, associated Windows infrastructure and Front end applications that need to be hosted in Citrix and develop runbook / Documentation.
  • Automating mundane/routine tasks through scripts/tools.
  • Incident management (Resolve high priority & escalated tickets, Investigation and identification of permanent Fix, Provide leadership for quick resolution of tickets for L1 & L2 teams)
  • Perform RCA analysis for Sev1/2 incidents and permanent resolution &Proactive analysis on repetitive issues.
  • Change/ Release implementation (Accountable for Change / release planning and implementation, considering Risk and impact to the environment, Analyzing impact of publishing application silos & optimizing them)
  • Capacity Management - Monitor Capacity issues & Perform Proactive capacity management.
  • Good Communication - With peers and Customers.
  • Should be able to work independently and contribute to the team.
  • Should be able represent the team during Incidents, etc.
