Things to do in Las Vegas!

Las Vegas is like no other place on earth, so if you’re coming to Navigate 2015, why not experience even more of what Las Vegas has to offer? Here are just a few suggestions compiled by the Navigate 2015 team!

For more ideas, be sure to check out the official Las Vegas website to discover all that the city has to offer.

Take a ride on the High Roller

Some people wake up and want to hit the casino floor immediately. Some people crave a different kind of adventure, and may prefer to take a ride on the biggest observation wheel in the world. At a towering 550 feet, the High Roller tops the Singapore Flyer by nine feet and towers over the London Eye by 107 feet! If you’re on the Strip, you literally can’t miss it.

Catch a show

It’s no surprise that Las Vegas has been an entertainment capital for decades. It feels like everyone has performed here, from Sinatra to Skrillex and everything in between. In case you didn’t know, Cirque du Soleil has not one, but eight shows currently running all over Las Vegas! There’s truly something here for everyone.

The Neon Museum

Much of “Old Vegas” has passed into history, but there are those who endeavor to preserve some of the glitz of yesteryear for future generations. Welcome to the Neon Museum—a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving the classic neon signs that made Las Vegas such an iconic destination. Over the course of a one-hour guided tour, you’ll see 150 famous and obscure signs that chart the trajectory of the city, as well as changes and trends in design and technology as it progressed since the 1930s. You’ll leave with a newfound appreciation for these signs, which once only pointed to the attraction, have now become the main draw themselves.

Fremont Streent Experience

You may have noticed by now, but Vegas sets a lot of world records. The Fremont Street Experience is on par, with the largest video screen in the world—Viva Vision—suspended 90 feet above a massive pedestrian mall. You’ll find this showpiece among the five blocks that make up this distinctive entertainment district that’s also home to free rock concerts, the Slotzilla zip line attraction, and some of the most recognizable casinos Las Vegas has to offer.

World-Class Dining

Name a style of cuisine, and odds are in your favor that you can find it in Las Vegas. From legendary buffets, to secret pizzas, to Michelin Three Star restaurants, it’s all here. Celebrity chefs and the world’s most renowned talent have all set up shop here, making the dining scene on The Strip one of the hottest and trendiest on the planet. But, just like Navigate, be sure to get those reservations in early—the best places tend to fill up quick!
