Mandatory Requirements

  • Good communication
  • 5+ years technical experience 
  • Experience in translating business requirements into technical specifications
  • Must have strong interpersonal and organization skills and be able to communicate clearly with all levels of the business including personnel, technical management, customers and/or external vendors
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to work in a team environment and independently
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills including the ability to quickly identify, analyze and resolve issues and system failures
  • Ability to analyze project requirements, draft project plans, milestones and delivery schedules
  • Experience in PowerShell, Linux Bash, Visual Basic, and batch file scripting
  • Experience in Agile Methodology

Job Description

  • Manage and support consumer reported issues - mostly focus on escalated issues on platforms such as Linux and Windows
  • Provide guidance and assistance to the development teams by identifying bug / root cause of issue
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with peers, teams and other internal or external people critical to business functionality
  • Create PowerShell scripts to automate the manual steps/processes
  • Be responsible for the resolution of incident services calls and requests providing 24/7 support
  • Assist with level 2 and 3 support coordinating and assisting other IT departments to resolve issues
  • Create process or troubleshooting documentation in the support knowledge base
  • Additional duties as assigned

Desired Skills

  • Experience working in Jira
  • In depth knowledge of current technology:
    • Linux and Windows Server platforms
    • Performance troubleshooting at OS Level
    • Database fundamentals & querying Microsoft SQL Database
    • Network fundamentals (Network Topology, LAN/WAN, TCPIP)
    • Virtualized environments (VMWare)
    • Windows and Apple desktop platforms
  • Basic knowledge with HTML, ASP.NET and IIS Web Server
  • Basic knowledge on .NET Framework, C#, XML, SOAP

Educational Qualifications

  • BE/BTECH (CS/IT), MCA, Msc(IT/CS) or related degree
