Job Description

  • Level 2 technician with specialized expertise in Networking (Troubleshooting firewall, Routers switches, VPN).
  • Troubleshooting knowledge on Network and Firewall issues.
  • Configuring VPN and Troubleshooting issues related to an existing VPN setup not working.
  • Configuring and troubleshooting Routers and Switches
  • Should have thorough understanding of the basics behind Internet and its workings (DNS, Security, IP Routing, HTTP, VPN, IPSec Gateways, Email Routing, SPAM, etc.
  • Should have good understanding on at least one of the security device like configuring and setting up Cisco, Sonicwall, Juniper, Fortigate firewalls, VPN, Switches, for accessing vital business applications.
  • Should have thorough understanding of LAN, WAN and multi-site network operations.
  • Analyze, troubleshoot and fix network related issues remotely through tickets or over a Call.
  • Knowledge on TCP/IP networking including IP classes, subnets, multicast, NAT, ACL.
  • Should have basic/advanced knowledge in using Third party analysis and troubleshooting tools like Wireshark and Solarwinds for packet analyzing.
  • Knowledge & understanding on Port Forwarding, VLAN, Content Filter, VPN, Routing & Remote Access Service & Windows networking components.
